Krista and family - I'm so sorry to hear about your loss (Christy shared the sad news). Cancer is a horrible thing. Please know you are in my prayers and not alone as you deal with this loss. Blessings on you all - Shelley

Dear Mary Ann and Family,

We are stunned and terribly saddened to hear about Chuck. We wish we had known about the problem so we could have prayed with you. We will, of course pray for all of you as well as for the peaceful and joyful repose of Chuck's soul.

Love and Prayers for all,

Dear Mary Ann and Family,

We are stunned and deeply saddened to hear about Chuck this day. Since enjoying the evening with you in our home in January, we have been unaware that Chuck was ill. Upon learning of it today, we did a web search and found your web site with the account of Chuck's courage and typical good humor through the struggle. God bless you all at this difficult time. You are very much in our thoughts and prayers.

To The Heubusch Family,

While I never had the opportunity to personally meet Colonel Heubusch's family, I knew them in my heart. He spoke so proudly of you during our many gruelling runs, which by the way all but killed me. He was a Colonel and I was a Captain... he gave me no choice. I referred back to these "mentoring sessions" during many of the tough decisions points in my career/life and believe they led me to become a better officer and more importantly a better person. I only hope he shows more mercy to the Angels in heaven during those long runs.

May the Irish Blessing fall upon you.

Dear Mary-Ann, Krista and Steve,
How very sad we were to learn of your wonderful husband and father's passing. He was a wonderful friend and great guy to work with. Our time in Europe and DC together was made so enjoyable by the good and loving care and warm friendship of the Heubusch family. We love you all and have you in our thoughts and prayers.

Mary Ann, Krista, Steve,
Pat and I send our heartfelt condolences to you and hope our prayers will be of some comfort during this most trying time. We were so privledged to know you all both in the UK and Washington, DC. Chuck was a wonderful mentor in my first days at IGS and made navigating the halls of the Pentagon both productive and enjoyable. He was a superb soldier and patriot and he will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. Larry and Pat Mayes, Rapid City, SD

Dear Mary Ann and Family,

Can't begin to tell you how saddened we were with the news. We hope you find comfort in the thoughts and prayers of so many people Chuck touched over the years both personally and professionally. We also commend Paul's second letter to the Corinthians, Chapter 1, verses 3 - 7, for your contemplation. Ours is a God of great comfort; trust in Him and those He places in your path at this time. May God Bless you and your entire family.

John & Alvina Mitchell
